| This is a photograph of Charlotte A. NILES of Lebanon, New York which was taken at the Hyatt & Tooke Studio in Cortland, NY. The photograph appears to have been a graduation photo taken in 1892 when she graduated from the Cortland Normal School. In addition to her maiden name someone has noted her married name on the back of the photograph in pencil, Mrs. Jay POWELL.
I'm hoping that someone from Charlotte's family can be located so that this precious family photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. I'm hoping that by posting the photograph on the website someone might be able to identify the family to whom it belongs. Thanks, |
